Our Final Open Day of the Year

Cat lovers are invited to come along and support the Bluebell Ridge Cat Rehoming Centre at our final Open Day of the year on Sunday 20 September from 11:30am till 3pm.

This free event is a great family day out and visitors will have the chance to meet the cats at our centre and see the valuable work undertaken here. Funds raised on the day will go towards the animals in our care.

There will be a host of activities to keep cat lovers and children busy, including a chance to talk to our knowledgeable volunteers and meet the cats. There will also be a variety of stalls, including raffles, tombola, face painting, home made cakes, and a range of fun games for children such as hook the duck, find the treasure and cat and mouse game.

There will also be a chance to win a family ticket to this year's pantomime, Cinderella at the White Rock Theatre in Hastings.

Myra Grove, Cattery Manager for Bluebell Ridge said: "We always look forward to opening our doors to the public on our open days as its a chance for people to have fun while meeting some of the cats that we care for. This is our final open day of the year so we would love as many people as possible to come along and support our work."

The open day will be taking place at our centre at Chowns Hill in Hastings.

For more information on the open day please contact Myra Grove on 01424 752121.

Black DSH, male, 4 years old approx.Donald is a shy but very affectionate boy when you sit quietly with him. He enjoys a fuss and attention. He is a ruggedly handsome chap who has been in the wars and if only he could talk, he'd have a few tales to tell. He is healing very well after having a large abscess on his neck, and is very nearly there.  He would suit an older family in a quiet home.
DSH Black female, 5-6 years old. Hettie is a very beautiful girl with a stunning jet-black coat.  Hettie can be affectionate and playful and also has an independent side. She would suit a home where she can choose the comfort of indoors or explore the outdoors in a large garden. Hettie would like an older family with no young children, that will give her the time and care that she needs to adapt to her new environment.  She is very sensitive to sudden movements and noise within the home, so would need a quiet and calm home.
DSH Black male, 2 years old.Matthew is a loving boy who enjoys human company. He is friendly and loves the attention. He can be a little shy at times, but with reassurance, he soon forgets to be nervous. He is a lovely lad who will be a lovely companion.
