Friends Unlimited raise £285 for Bluebell Ridge

We would like to say a big thank you to Friends Unlimited who raised £285 for Bluebell Ridge at their event on Saturday 14th April.

The local singing group put on a wonderful morning of fun and song, which included 'What's new pussycat', 'Mr Mistoffelees' and a medley from 'Les Miserables'.

The event, which was held at Hastings Museum and Art Gallery, also offered beautiful home-made cakes and a raffle.

Nikki Hawes, Income Generation and Marketing Officer for Bluebell Ridge, said "We are extremely grateful to Friends Unlimited for putting on such a wonderful performance and supporting our work. The money raised will go towards caring for the cats in our care. Bluebell Ridge is entirely self-funded and we rely on the support of lovely people like Friends Unlimited to help us continue our vital work."

If you would like to help raise money for Bluebell Ridge, please visit our Get Involved page for some fundraising ideas.

White DSH, male, 10 years old.Smirnoff is a loveable and delightful chap, who is full of affection. Although he can be a little shy in new surroundings, he quickly comes forward for attention and fuss. He loves to have his beautiful thick coat groomed and has a lovely loud purr as soon as any attention comes his way. He is looking for a loving home on the quieter side where he can chill out and snuggle up with someone. He needs to be the only pet of the household.
Tortie DLH female, 10 1/2 years old.Bootzie is an elegant looking girl who would suit a quiet and calm house with no other pets, she would benefit from a routine to help her settle. Bootzie is shy and unsure of people and as such would need an owner who understands that it may take her a long time to become comfortable in a new home.
Black DSH male, 10 years old approx.Jingles is a sweet, gentle lad with different coloured eyes, making him very unique. He can be a little shy initially, but when used to his surroundings, gains in confidence and enjoys a gentle fuss. He would make a good companion cat and would ideally prefer one-on-one attention or a calm, quiet household where he can be himself and develop his loving character. He would also like to be the only pet of the household.
