The Cat Walk Returns

After a successful walk last year along the seafront, Bluebell Ridge will be holding another walk in Alexandra Park to raise funds for the branch.

Event Date: Sunday 1st October 2017

Event Time: 1:30pm for 2pm start

Event meeting point: The Bandstand in Alexandra Park, Hastings.

The walk is 5 kilometres (just over three miles) and is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness.

Fancy dress is encouraged (but not essential), so find your cat onesie or cat ears and tail to join in the fun. There will be a prize for the best dressed!

The walk is only £5 to register and £10 for a family (2+2) and if you would like to raise sponsorship money, please download a Sponsorship Form. The price also includes refreshments at the end of the walk.

Dogs are welcome and there will be a free dog treat for every dog.

You can register by filling in a Registration Form.

Please wear sensible footwear and appropriate clothing.

If you have any questions, please call us or email bluebellridge@outlook.com

All profits from the walk will go towards helping the cats in our care.

Tortie DLH female, 10 1/2 years old.Bootzie is an elegant looking girl who would suit a quiet and calm house with no other pets, she would benefit from a routine to help her settle. Bootzie is shy and unsure of new people. She needs an owner who understands that it may take her a long time to become comfortable in a new home. She is very affectionate on her terms, she like to rub round your legs and hands. We have found she likes to be the one to make contact with us, but can panic when she is touched in return if she's not expecting it.
Tortie DSH female, 13 years old approx.Mavis is a chatty lady who loves a fuss and a cuddle. Mavis is being treated for a thyroid condition which means she has one tablet twice a day to keep things stable. She is very good at taking her medication which is added to her food. She really deserves to find her forever home where she can receive all of the love that she needs.Mavis is currently in a foster home. Please speak to a member of staff for more information. We will be happy to tell you all about her.
Black DSH male, 10 years old approx.Jingles is a sweet, gentle lad with different coloured eyes, making him very unique. He can be a little shy initially, but when used to his surroundings, gains in confidence and enjoys a gentle fuss. He would make a good companion cat and would ideally prefer one-on-one attention or a calm, quiet household where he can be himself and develop his loving character. He would also like to be the only pet of the household.
