Art Competition Winners

Last month Bluebell Ridge asked children to draw or paint a picture of their pet. All entries were split into three categories: under 8 years, 8-12 years and 13-16 years, and one winner has been chosen from each category.

The lucky winners are:
Hannah Hughes - Age 7
Lana Harrison - Age 9
Lauren Hughes - Age 15

The lucky three have won fantastic art materials donated by the Jerwood Gallery and Hastings Museum & Art Gallery, as well as a VIP tour of the Bluebell Ridge Centre.

The winning pictures are now on display at Bluebell Ridge.

Tortie DSH female, 13 years old approx.Mavis is a chatty lady who loves a fuss and a cuddle. Mavis is being treated for a thyroid condition which means she has one tablet twice a day to keep things stable. She is very good at taking her medication which is added to her food. She really deserves to find her forever home where she can receive all of the love that she needs.
Tortie DLH female, 10 1/2 years old.Bootzie is an elegant looking girl who would suit a quiet and calm house with no other pets, she would benefit from a routine to help her settle. Bootzie is shy and unsure of people and as such would need an owner who understands that it may take her a long time to become comfortable in a new home. 
Black DSH male, 10 years old approx.Jingles is a sweet, gentle lad with different coloured eyes, making him very unique. He can be a little shy initially, but when used to his surroundings, gains in confidence and enjoys a gentle fuss. He would make a good companion cat and would ideally prefer one-on-one attention or a calm, quiet household where he can be himself and develop his loving character. He would also like to be the only pet of the household.
