Cat-Walk to Raise Funds

Bluebell Ridge will be holding a walk along Hastings and St Leonards seafront on Monday 29 August to raise funds for the branch.

The walk will start at Winkle Island (at the foot of All Saints Street) in Hastings Old Town at 1:30pm and continue along Hastings and St Leonards seafront, with a short stop at Grosvenor Gardens. We will then head back to Hastings and finish at The White Rock Hotel who will be kindly providing refreshments for walkers.

The walk is approximately 4 miles and is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness.

Fancy dress is encouraged (but not essential) and we want you to strut your stuff along the seafront. So find your cat onesie or cat ears and tail to join in the fun. We will also have a face painter on hand if you would like a black nose and whiskers.

Booking is advisable, but you are welcome to turn up on the day. You can register by filling in a Registration Form.

The walk is £5 per person and there is a family ticket (2 adults & 2 children) for £10. All profits from the walk will go towards helping the cats and dogs in our care.

Please wear sensible footwear and appropriate clothing. If it is a hot day, we recommend bringing a bottle of water with you.

If you have any questions, please call us or email bluebellridge@outlook.com

Tortie DSH female, 13 years old approx.Mavis is a chatty lady who loves a fuss and a cuddle. Mavis is being treated for a thyroid condition which means she has one tablet twice a day to keep things stable. She is very good at taking her medication which is added to her food. She really deserves to find her forever home where she can receive all of the love that she needs.
Tortie DLH female, 10 1/2 years old.Bootzie is an elegant looking girl who would suit a quiet and calm house with no other pets, she would benefit from a routine to help her settle. Bootzie is shy and unsure of people and as such would need an owner who understands that it may take her a long time to become comfortable in a new home.
Black DSH male, 10 years old approx.Jingles is a sweet, gentle lad with different coloured eyes, making him very unique. He can be a little shy initially, but when used to his surroundings, gains in confidence and enjoys a gentle fuss. He would make a good companion cat and would ideally prefer one-on-one attention or a calm, quiet household where he can be himself and develop his loving character. He would also like to be the only pet of the household.
