Concert to Support Bluebell Ridge

A local singing group is presenting a new concert in aid of Bluebell Ridge on Saturday 5 March at 11am.

The singing group, 'Friends Unlimited',formed fifteen years ago, firstly presenting civic Christmas concerts in Hastings Town Hall.Throughout their time, the 3-part harmony group (soprano, contralto and baritone) have supported over twenty local organisations and have raised many hundreds of pounds.

The twelve singers are delighted to be presenting a new concert to support Bluebell Ridge who are owned and operated by the Sussex East and Hastings branch of the RSPCA. They are a separate charity within the national body and are entirely self-financed.

The concert will feature a morning of choral entertainment, including a performance of 'Orpheus in the Underground','Hallelujah' and a tribute to Sir Terry Wogan with 'Floral Dance'.

Tickets are £6 each, which includes interval refreshments and there will also be a raffle.

The money raised from the concert will go towards the local cats and dogs in the charity's care. Each year the branch has to raise more than £150,000 so it relies on the support of the public to continue its vital work.

The Friends in Song concert will betaking place at Hastings Museum and Art Gallery at Bohemia Road, Hastings.

Domestic short haired Torbie, female. 8 years old.Callie is a gentle sweet natured girl and enjoys nothing more than a fuss, she can however be nervous of new surroundings, although she settled very quickly at the cattery. Callie is looking for a quiet older family to look after her. She will need time to settle in a new home and show how beautiful she can be.
Tortie DSH female, 10 years old.Pepsi is a gentle girl who really enjoys your company. She is not fond of other cats so suited to an only cat household. She however loves attention from people. She can be initially shy at first but once she has settled shows her true self which is a sweet and happy cat.
Tabby DSH female, 12 years old. Tilly is a beautiful girl who is full of love. She is eager to make friends and is always ready for a fuss. Tilly likes her home comforts and enjoys sleeping in her bed tucked up cosily. She will be a lovely companion and would best suit a quieter home as an only cat, where she can relax and enjoy life. Could you be the special person our gentle soul is waiting for? Please ask a member of staff for details.
