Run and raise funds for Bluebell Ridge

Will you be running the Hastings Half Marathon in 2018? Are you thinking about raising money for a charity? If so, please support your local RSPCA Branch.

Bluebell Ridge is owned and operated by the Sussex East and Hastings Branch of the RSPCA, however it is a separate charity within the national body and is self-financing. Each year the Branch has to raise over £150,000 to keep the centre open and we heavily rely on the generosity of local individuals, businesses and groups.

We help to rescue and rehome over 200 cats in Hastings and Rother every year and we also neuter many hundreds of felines and Bull breeds to prevent suffering.

How You Can Help Us Make A Difference

It doesn't matter how much you raise for Bluebell Ridge, every pound will go towards keeping our work going to rehabilitate the animals in our care before we can find them loving new homes.

Here are some examples of what your donation could pay for:

£25 will pay for vital veterinary care for one cat
£50 will help pay for much needed neutering costs
£75 will provide shelter, food and bedding for five cats, for one day

If you are interested in running the half marathon and raising funds for cats in need, please contact us on 01424 752121 or email bluebellridge@outlook.com

Black and white male, 6 years old approx. Captain is a dear lad who has come on leaps and bounds since arriving here with us. He now loves a fuss and is very affectionate. When he first came in he was very nervous and would shy away from us. He may still take a little longer to get his bearings in his new home but it will be very rewarding to see him blossom, and he will become a loyal companion. Are you the special someone who can give our treasure the loving home he's been longing for?
Black DLH male, 10 years old approx.Ed is a dear soul with a very gentle nature. He loves a fuss in the safety of his pod. He is looking for a quiet home with a nurturing owner, where he can settle at his own pace. He can be a bit timid in new surroundings or situations, but he has gained in confidence since his arrival. He could possibly settle with another calm cat, subject to further testing. He came to us with a nasty abscess on his face which he is recovering well from and has been a trooper through his treatment. He really deserves a loving home after all he's been through. Has a provisional reserve
White & Tortie (Tri colour) Female. 8 YearsFlossie is a sweet girl looking for her furrever home. As you can see, she has had her ear and the tip of her other ear removed due to too much sun, causing damage to it.
