Every year the Sussex East and Hastings Branch helps at least a hundred dogs. The RSPCA Sussex East and Hastings Branch is an independently registered charity which receives no direct funding from the RSPCA National Society and is therefore reliant on fundraising for this vital work.

Dogs are Re-homed on a “Home from Home” system and occasionally, depending on circumstances, a private kennel is used for emergencies.

The Dogs that are referred to the RSPCA for re-homing are for a variety of reasons: their owner may be ill or have died; they may no longer be able to afford them; a change of circumstances or their owners simply no longer want them. Sadly some of the animals that we have to re-home have been abused or neglected, and need considerable veterinary treatment which we as a Branch pay for. Many are strays.

You can help the RSPCA Bluebell Ridge (Sussex East and Hastings Branch) give a second chance to dogs like Lulu by donating monthly to the Faithful Friends Scheme for as much as you can afford.

We will reward your kindness by:

  • Displaying your name at Bluebell Ridge
  • Sending you a regular supporters’ newsletter.
  • Giving you a special Canine Friend certificate.
