These are just some of the dogs looking for new homes.

Apple

Collie Cross Labrador Dog, 6 years old, black with grey muzzle, castrated ok with most dogs. Strong on the lead but walks well with a halti. URGENTLY needs to be rehomed because of a new baby and part time work.

Danny

Labrador cross - dog - 7 years old - black - castrated. Danny came to us having been rescued by a lady from an abusive household. He has been beaten by a man and for this reason he is very apprehensive of any man understandably and therefore would ideally suit a lady owner, but of course if the 'right dad' came along this could be a perfect home for Danny. He is strong on the lead, very affectionate, loves to play ball and will bring it back to you and lift his paw in thanks. Possibly okay with a cat but would suggest the cat must have lived with a dog before.

Foster

Boxer Dog - 4 yrs old white with black spots and still has his tail, inoculated and microchipped. Strong on the lead but good off it. Foster is a much loved family pet, good with other dogs (lives with a Staffy) and good with children. Very sadly he has to be rehomed as his owner has a medical condition which means she cannot easily walk Foster. Family home would be ideal , and someone with a strong arm!

Gem and Jewel

Two Westie cross Cairns - Bitches - Both Salt and Pepper colour - Gem , 5 years old, spayed and Microchipped and Jewel, 3½ years old - not spayed. Good with children, fairly good on the lead (these little dogs have never actually been let off the lead). Much loved family pets who sadly have to be rehomed as their family's new accommodation does not permit dogs. Ideally to be homed together but would consider seperating.

Lilly

Miniature Poodle - bitch - 20 months old - Apricot. Dear little dog, living with three other poodles, not compatible with one of the other bitches therefore urgently needs to be rehomed, ideally as the only dog. Will make somebody a dear little pet.

Milly

Rottie cross Lab . Approx 2 yrs old - Black & Tan - inoculated and microchipped. Milly is a lovely girl, strong on the lead. Sadly to be rehomed as work patten has changed. And Milly is being left for long periods, which has resulted in her stressing and beginning to chew. Milly desperatly needs a new home so she can resume her much loved walks and exercise.

Winston

Husky cross - dog - 12 months old - Black and Tan. Present owners have had the dog for two weeks due to their son having to move into accommodation where the dog is not allowed. Unfortunately the lady of the house has an allergy and cannot keep this lovely dog. Strong on the lead, house trained, okay with older children. Beautiful boy, ideally to go to someone who has had the Husky breed before.

Zac

Staffie - dog - 14 months old - Brown Brindle. Small little fellow. Fully inoculated. Absolutely super Staffie, so loving, so affectionate and brilliant with children. Sadly has to be rehomed due to domestic circumstances and has to be rehomed URGENTLY.

Happily Homed Dogs

Solo, a young alsation, in a field of bluebells.

Solo

Solo, a young alsation, found tied up to a lamp-post with twine round his neck.  Very sad, and he was in bad condition. It took some weeks to gain his confidence and re-introduce him to the human race, also for him to realise that some of us were good people.  Well he found good people, a local farm where he has found new doggy friends, huge freedom and mountains of friends.

Libby as a puppy, and Libby as a young dog with her new friend.

Libby

A bag of dead puppies was handed in but one puppy had survived, she was weaned and looked after.  It was thought she was between 4-5 weeks old and a Yorkie!   Wrong, the first photo is Libby at 7 weeks, and the second photo shows her 18 months on with her new friend “Charley”.

Purdii relaxing

Purdii

Purdii was found wandering the streets, cold, dirty and underweight.  He has been rehomed with a lovely family who already had “Tinker” another Yorkie X,  also from the RSPCA, and boy are they spoilt.
