Cats At The Centre

Adoptions During Covid-19 Lockdown

Defra has given approval for the RSPCA to rehome and foster animals in England again.

We have introduced new temporary processes and checks to ensure that the animal and adopter are well matched and protected. Cats will be safely delivered to their new homes in a secure way. For more information, please call Bluebell Ridge on 01424 752121. Our phone lines are in operation between 11am - 3pm everyday, except Thursdays.

Please do not visit us in person - this is a new remote process that involves our key workers bringing the animals to you!

Benjamin (Pod 22)

Benjamin (Pod 22)

Tabby DLH, male, 6 years old approx.

Benjamin is a sensitive soul who is adjusting to his change in circumstances. He will need an experienced cat owner who can offer him time and patience to help in his quest to trust people and settle into his new home. He is beginning to chat to us and enjoys a lovely head stroke, and has become more confident and likes to investigate the cattery beyond his pod. He's been used to a more independent, outdoorsy lifestyle, having been a stray for a few years, and I now looking forward to a permanent place to call home.

Colin (Pod 7)

Colin (Pod 7)

Black DSH, male, 3 years old approx.

Colin is a great cat, full of personality. He is quite confident and sociable, and loves to be out of his pod exploring the cattery. Colin has been used to the outdoors lifestyle so he would like a home with a nice garden to claim as his own. He is a cuddly lad as well, and clambers onto your lap, fidgeting about to find the best spot to enjoy a nice head rub. He is very distinctive with his tatty ears which only add to his charm. He will be a lovely companion for an older family.

Inka (Pod 26)

Inka (Pod 26)

Black DSH, female, 1 year old.

Inka is a little poppet who wouldn't hurt a fly. She is so gentle and loving, lapping up all the attention you give her. She is currently recovering after having a leg amputated. She has been a star patient and with lots of TLC from the staff, she is adapting very well; her balance and coordination so far are really good, and she is a happy little soul. She is looking for a caring, loving home where she can continue her rehabilitation once she is ready; she has a little further to go, but she can be reserved in the meantime. Although she now only has three legs, she will need a safe garden to venture out into once she's settled in her new home. She will need a calm home in a quiet area, away from busy roads to keep her safe. She would like to be the only pet of the household.

Maple

Maple

Tortie & White 8 years old Domestic Long Haired

Maple is a beautiful cat in need of a nurturing and understanding friend. She will need an experienced cat person who will give her the time and space to settle in her own time. We know she has an affectionate gentle nature just waiting to shine through. A careful approach to her introduction to her new home will give her the building blocks she needs to then work on gaining trust in having fusses. She will need a small quiet settling room to make her own before venturing into more of her new home. Maple will be a lovely little project cat for someone, and gaining her trust and affection will be all the more rewarding. She will eventually be able to become a more confident cat.

Currently with a Foster Carer.

Monty (Pod 1)
I am reserved.

Monty (Pod 1)

Black DSH male, 12 years old.

Monty is a real gem, full of life and loves to be with people. Despite a challenging start to his life, Monty has a lot of love to give. Although he is a senior lad now, you would never guess when you see him play. He bounces around the cattery chasing a tickle stick or his ping pong ball; his technique is very comical! He would make a lovely companion on a one to one basis or with a grown up family.
Ruby (Pod 15)
I am reserved.

Ruby (Pod 15)

Tabby and white DSH, female, young adult.

Ruby is a sweetie full of life and love. She is quite an outgoing character in the cattery and will be a great addition to many households. She is inquisitive and playful and raring to make a new start in life. Could you be the missing piece of her puzzle she's looking for? She needs to be the only cat of the household.

Sasha (Pod 30)

Sasha (Pod 30)

Black DSH female, 7 1/2 years old.

Sasha is a beauty with a sensitive nature. Although she finds new situations a bit daunting, she soon settles down to become a loving and affectionate little lady. She is full of character and can sometimes let what's on her mind show. Once settled in a home, she will feel more in control of her day to day life and be much happier. She is looking for a fresh start with a nurturing owner or older family, who can give her the space she needs to settle and get to know the household routine. In return, she will be a faithful friend and a joy to have in your home. She loves to play and is very entertaining chasing and leaping about after her favourite orange worm on a string.

Tatters (Pod 23)

Tatters (Pod 23)

Black and white DSH, 4 years old approx.

Tatters is a lovely chap who enjoys human company and attention. Although a little nervous in new surroundings, it doesn't take him too long to find his feet and let his true personality shine. He is an active boy who will enjoy exploring his new neighbourhood in time, and enjoy snuggling up with you when you're home, dreaming of the day's adventures. Tatters is looking for a quiter home where he can relax and enjoy his new life, forgetting his troubles. He needs to be the only cat of the household.
